Refund Policy


Refund Policy for Courses and Workshops

It is very important to us that you are satisfied with your purchase. In the unfortunate event that you are unsatisfied, you may be eligible for a refund subject to the conditions noted below.


Refund Policy for classes, training, events and workshops whether (Live or Hybrid) are as follows:

·      Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 72 hours before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel by phone (305) 646-1603. If you have to cancel your class, we offer you 100% of your money back IF you cancel before the 72 hours.

·      If you cancel at least 48 Hours before the scheduled event you will receive a credit valid for 1 year from the date of payment. If you do not cancel prior to 48 Hours you will lose the payment for the class.


Refund Policy for (Online) classes, training, events and workshops) are as follows:

·      Your purchase was made no more than 72 hours prior to your refund request.

·      You have NOT:

o   Attempted any portion of a test or exam

o   Requested or been issued a certificate of completion

o   Completed 10% or more of the purchased course

If you meet all of these criteria, you must submit your refund request in writing via e-mail to within 72 hours of your course purchase along with a receipt evidencing your proof of purchase and an explanation for why you are requesting a refund.



Further, no refund will be issued for:

·      Failure to pass quizzes, final exams, or any other in-course assessment requirements within the allotted attempts (per course guidelines)

·      Failure to pass identity validation requirements (including validation of state or government identification, security questions or any other required methods, per course guidelines

·      Course expirations (per course guidelines)

·      Expedited processing or mailing of certificates once the requested expedite has been fulfilled as promised

Requested refunds that are approved may take up to 10 business days to reflect in your account. Refunds will only be issued to the same payment method used during the initial purchase.



Course Specific Policies

·      Notwithstanding the foregoing, any course-specific terms, conditions, or policies presented during registration that may be inconsistent with the refund policy specified above, will supersede those listed in this refund policy. Refund Policy for Books and Items

We offer a refund policy for books and items within 30 days of the purchase date, provided the items are returned in new condition and without wear and tear. Please review our refund policy below:

1. Eligible Items:

  • This refund policy applies to books and items that have been purchased directly through Developing New Horizons and are returned within 30 days from the original purchase date.

2. New Condition:

  • To be eligible for a refund, items must be in new condition, with no signs of wear and tear. This includes books with unmarked pages, no visible damage, and original packaging intact.

3. Refund Request:

  • To request a refund, please contact our customer support team within 30 days of your purchase date. You may do so by email. Provide your order details and the reason for the return.

4. Return Process:

  • Upon approval of your refund request, we will provide you with return instructions. Please carefully package the items to prevent damage during the return process.

5. Refund Amount:

  • Once we receive the returned items and confirm they are in new condition, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued for the cost of the items, excluding any shipping fees.

6. Refund Method:

  • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please allow [insert estimated time] for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.
